Has anyone used a non-leaning articulating rig similar to the Armec 'Sidewinder'?
My son has recently become a 'Poppa' and is considering mounting a 'chair' to his KTM 990 Adventure. He's a long time solo rider (30 yrs- a good portion of which was off-road). I have been researching sidecars and came across a video clip of the Armec 'Sidewinder' and found the concept quite interesting. My son is an MOT certified welder (exotic metals specialist) ( only one I've ever witnessed able to tig-weld 2 empty beer cans butt-to-butt, without 'holing' them) and could put together almost anything.
I'm looking at a used Velorex 'Spyder' chair in white/black (which would be a color-match to his KTM), attached to bike with 2 'Heim' Joints and no triangulating braces, thus allowing the bike to 'Lean' like a solo.

Thoughts, anyone?

Several people here have made leaning rigs. You can try the Search feature for more but here is a good one.
