I got some more work done on my Haanndlebars of Doooom 🙂 Here is what I started with.
Did a little work on the mill and the lathe.
Started welding things up tonight.
I'll get more done tomorrow.
Holy Bananas!!!!!
Good looking bars. When in doubt, get a bigger hammer. In this case get a bigger crow bar. Have you ridden with the new bars yet? I'll bet they make steering a whole lot easier. You're going to have your rig all done just in time for winter. What is your winter project going to be?
Thanks Mark. I put about 200 miles on them today 🙂 They steer better for sure. I want to bend them back an inch or so to change the angle just a tad. I'll probably heat them up where the ring is and bend them there. That should change the angle and not take up too much slack on the clutch hose. My wobble nearly disappeared also?
How much lead does your sidecar wheel have?
It has 10" if I remember right.
We had fun today. It was about 32 degrees when we left this morning. It wormed up some by lunch time though. I have been pretty busy latly. I got the bars finished up and I've been working on the lights some. I had a guy at work throw some more paint on it this weekend. I like how it turned out.
Later, Wes

Hello Wes, all that are missing now are the wings of a WW2 Mustang.
nice Puppy.
Sven

Wes I thought of these ones that came frequently with teeth like your sidecar.

Been making progress on my project. I've gotten a little behind on the pictures.
The turn signal needs some more work. I've drilled and tapped a few of the little holes that I need. here I'm indicating things in "true".
Tapping.
I'm adding some air horns to my sidecar. I picked up some that were pretty tattered a while back at a yard sale. I've taken them apart and stripped the paint off of them and polished the trumpets up a bit.
I still need to get a picture after powder coating. They are ready to mount to the sidecar now.
You're still teasing us about the front fender (and hack fender).
Lonnie
Not on purpose. I had the front fender painted to match the bike. I also got a fender extender that I need to install. To reinstall the front fender the wheel needs to come off. When I go to the trouble to remove the wheel, I want to polish up the forks a bit. It will be a weekend long job.
I'm still mulling the sidecar fender over in my head. Besides I have other things that need finished first:o)
That and I'm still riding:o)
I got pretty busy there for a while. Today I got the rig out and went for a ride. Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It was about 25 deg. Still pretty fun though. I have been dinking around with some of the bits I'm making. Not really any pictures yet though. I changed my mind on the gauges. I'm going to add a extra battery. I have to make the bracket to mount my air tank still. I'm building some Whistles that I'll use instead of the air horns. I thought they would be more fun. My lights still aren't done. I need to get out in the shop!
Hope all are well, Wes
I wondered what happened to you, Wes.
Lonnie
