In response to my last thread, I have a line on a '97 heritage softail for cheap...
would that be a better platform with my velorex 562?

The 562 will mount up, but the suspension will need to be upgraded for a decent ride without wallowing in the turns.

Would a late model sportster be better? I can get one of those pretty cheap..

Late Sportys work fine but if using an earlier 562 it will still need suspension work to handle well without wallowing in the turns.
