1980 Motorvation Roadster.....just need to find a rotor & caliper that will fit...I can fab the mount for a caliper....I can prob use a master cyl off an old VW or something like that....I can attach a seperate plunger on the rear brake pedal to work the sidecar brake system...

Cycle salvage shop. Get a wheel with a rotor and a front brake caliper and you're on your way. A mount is easily fabricated. It can probably be tapped into the rear brake if you choose to link it.

Lonnie the sidecar I have has a trailer type hub with a 13" mag wheel on it....The spindle is about 1" plus a tad....I don't recall what that size is called and don't know if there are any motorcycle wheels that have a bearing hole that big so a bearing with a spindle size that big will fit in too.....hate to have to cut that spindle off and put a different one on....I will look for a trailer type first....Thanks for the idea Steve

Steve,
Measure the bolt pattern of your sidecar wheel, hub. Go to a tire store and cross reference it to a auto. Go to a wrecking yard and get a front rotor and caliper and maybe the master cylinder to match and there you go.
