The Velorex is finally hooked up to my bike. The only remaining installation is the brake cable and electrical wiring. Is this something I should leave for a dealer to complete? I do have good, competent help, but I'm not sure how involved the process is. If I were to take it to a dealer, would any standard type motorcycle dealer suffice or should I take it to a sidecar dealer?(nothing close to me as far a I know).
Thanks,
Dave

Dave,
Forget about the mechanical brake hookup. It won't interface well with the hydraulic disc brake(s) (most likely) on your bike which do the greatest percentage of your stopping.
The electrical hookup is fairly simple and can be tapped into the rear light wiring of most bikes with 3M connectors.
White goes to ground, black is for tail & running light, yellow is the right turn signal and red is for the stop light.

Where would one get an electrical side car brake setup?

I have a side car with no brake and this sounds interesting...

Possibly converting an electric trailer brake setup.
