The grandson took the bike but left the sidecar. Grandma, the Widow, says sell it! Have not put my hands or eyeballs on it yet, will go pick it up in the next few days.

Β

Was quoted, "It is a blue Hannigan Classic with new wheel and tire. The body is in excellent shape, with no cracks or holes. Has windshield and tonneau cover. Has clean wheel, tire, camber control. She said it was attached to a blue bike... maybe a Suzuki? Who knows."Β

This Hannigan tub new is priced at $8000 plus $2000 for all the extras. So how much should she ask? About half that...$4000? Β  No, she said sell it. Β  $3000 then? Β  NO, sell it.

Ok, you can get it for $2400, you pick up in Houston.

Sounds like a great deal for someone looking to build themselves a sidecar set up.

Here are the photos of the above sidecar. This is a bargain for a clean Hannigan Classic

You will need a sub-frame for your bike and a rear upper strut?Β

Someone is gonna get a deal! Β That’s a great rig. Β I’ve got one on one of my bikes. Β On the 2013 GSA. Β My favorite of the Β hannagin rigs. Β Jan, you better keep that one for a spare. Β Β

Will go look at it in the warehouse Monday. Did not see any brake lines on the rig, but did see camber control. Stand by...

Β

This is the single-wide tub that Hannigan makes. I have the dual wide Hanigan, or double wide with no sidecar brake. Don't need it with the Goldwing.

Ok, yes it has a disc for brakes, but I doubt brake pads have ever touched it. And yes, I verified there is a hydraulic/electric camber adjustment.

This size & weight tub would fit best on a 900cc+ tug, IMHO.

Railbender, finally have internet so can respond. As I told FM, the sidecar is safely stored indoors.

Will contact you once I return to Texas, might be a few months though as am working on assignment. Meantime no one else will be seeing the sidecar.

Nice sidecar.Β  Hannigan's sidecars tend to be on the heavier side. I would have no problem with it being on a RK,SG. or Road glide.
