Timo, Is that Coker 500/16 rated for all the weight of the factory tire? Any fitment issues, thanks. Alan

I have been running D402 which when it was a two wheeler I got 10K to 12K out of them. The D402 on it now was about 3/4 shoot when I put my hack on. I have a Elite 3 to put on it which many have said on a two wheeler they are getting 13K to 15K on them. Hoping to get 10K on it with the hack. Only time will tell.

With a hack you might get 10K out of that rear E3 before you run through the last ply of cord and hit air.
I wouldn't bet on it.

They are not exactly giving those Cokers away are they! I wish it would fit my 87 but I think it is a tad too wide. Oh well I'll see how what I have holds up. If I can get 8k out of it I'll be happy - -

I have a good friend that tried one on his 88 and only got 6K out of it.

was it a bias 500 16 or the new radial 500 16 that only lasted 6k??

the bias tires have been around for quite awhile and dont last very long, i have more than 8 on my radial now - but im down to 3/32 above the wear bars - once its dead ill report the total milage.

its not a cheap tire - but none of them are cheap tires - and none of them last very long.

in reality the ONLY good argument for a trike over a sidecar is that the tires last a really long time
