Is there going to have a certain area for camping for the sidecars or are we going to be scattered all over.Β Β

The woman in charge.... Mary Jo..... seems to have her fingers on this, and my email communication with her yesterday would lead me to believe that she is not planning on a "sidecar camping area".
I was impressed with all she told me, so I would encourage everyone north of the Pecos, south of Winnipeg, east of Bend, Oregon, and west of the Atlantic Ocean.....to attend this event.

@2FLTC Scattered all over as there are sites for tents and campers in different areas.Β
Here is a link to the campground map for the dates of the gathering.

814-752-2361 is the number to call for reservations. It is at Colors of the Forest RV Campground
If you call, let them know you are with the sidecars and they will guide to be near others that have made reservations.
Just talked with one of the owners and a motel room, cabin, camper site and tent site have been reserved by sidecar folks.
We'll be at space 205, near the office/general store.
Hope that helps and hope you can make it!

Spot is pick out on the other side of the grounds.

Unfortunately - the Octoberfest has been cancelled. The lady who runs the event has a broken foot. The calendar was made up months ago and they haven't updated as of the other day. πΒ
I'll be having a cookout on Saturday, so I can cook some bratwurst and sauerkraut and we'll pretend it's Octoberfest π
Bring the German hack!

Last weekend, we did a final check on the campground, campsite, and a route for the group ride. All good! Great two lane roads with not much traffic, considering it was a weekend. The owners have made updates in the few months since our first visit. We'll be at site 205, across from the office. Can't wait to see folks! Bakery is at the campground and has goodies on Saturday and Sunday. Restaurants, gas stations, and gift shops all 10 miles or less of the campground.
Β
I been checking what routes I want to take.Β Β
We'll have these brochures for everyone if you want a suggested route once you are there. We are planning on the ride in Forest County, called....wait for it....Fantastic Forests. There may be some different stops along the way. The Allegheny National Forest Ranger station isn't open on Saturday, but the lobby is and has quite a bit of information. There is also a Cadillac Museum in Brookville that's only open one weekend a month. https://www.greenbergcadillacmuseum.com/ if you'd like to take that route.
Bonus, it's open the same weekend as the campout.
Β
@2FLTCΒ if you message me your address, I will mail you a brochure of suggested rides. π
