Yep, been watching that and it's looking good. There may be plenty of mud to negotiate on the back roads. Still hoping to show up Thursday evening.

I think we will travel all way to the campground on Thursday and sleep in the cool Friday AM. Worked really hard to finish installing the AC in the FS3 and looks it will not be needed..

Tamales are in the freezer waiting for take off on Friday.... sorry Thursday.....

Pulling out early Friday morning on the leaner for a, as planed, 284 mile run. That's if another route doesn't catch my eye.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing the rigs.

Thank's Lee and Art plus all the others that had something to do with making this happen. The location offered all one could ask for, trees, water and great roads. I met a bunch of great folks, saw some great rigs, befriended rally dogs and a new rally chicken and came home with the Pinto Pony saddle bags loaded with good cookies.

Had a great time myself -- enjoyed seeing all the rigs especially cleatusj's leaner, listening to the old/long timers talking about bikes and rigs but I think the rally chick took the cake.....

Rosa and I are now at a casino in Marksville, La --- Was given the advice to just drive by the front door, drop out all the money from my wallet and head home -- that would save lots of time!!!! 🙂 looking forward to the national in June --- I think we will head for Colorado and grand canyon after the rally....

I am crestfallen that I couldn't make this.....I did get the hack mounted in time but my FIL is in the hospital and not doing well. My wife asked us not to stray too far....so we camped near Marquez with friends.

My son and I made 100 miles mostly on Gravel near Jewett and Buffalo on the KLR/Velorex rig. I switched the front tire from the 21" stock to a 17" that I had lying around and it made a world of handling difference!
