@prmurat1 The Trans Labrador it's self is Paved all the way. It is the Quebec side that has about a 100 miles of Gravel. It was smooth but dusty when I took it. A few trucks but they were as courteous s they could be. Quebec is working on it but it will be a few more years before it ever gets paved. What I would recommend is making the run up to St. Barbe. You want to see that part of Newfoundland anyways.  Take the short ferry over to Labrador ( it actually lands in Quebec ) and spend a day or two exploring just that part of the Coast. Which is wonderful and all paved. Maybe just up to Port Hope Simpson.. Probably the best part and gives you the real Labrador Experience, high barrens, coastal villages, the works .. Then head back to Newfoundland and spend the time there. The rest is just a long lonely paved road through not much. With the odd Town. Happy Valley/ goose Bay, Church hill Falls. A hydro company town, And Labrador City.. A real city in the middle of no where.. Iron ore Mines keep it going. Other than that about a 1000 Kilometres on Raw Canada.

St Pierre & Miquelon That will be a great experience.. I was tempted but just did not have the time and I had left my Pass Port at home, on purpose so I had to stay on course and not get distracted. lol8

Thanks for the tips! As soon as I am home (hospital for a couple of days…age!) I’ll get in  maps/PC etc. to check the roads!
