GM and Segway just announced that they have just partnered to develop a two wheeled electric vehicle with a cab for two people. See http://news.cnet.com/8301-11128_3-10213863-54.html

http://www.crunchgear.com/2009/04/07/gm-and-segway-announce-two-wheeled-urban-transport-vehicle/

Note the training wheels fore and aft – this will give the tollway authorities hell as a three axle vehicle.

Also note the lack of a helmet – this will give Joan Claybrook and NHTSA fits as well.

ALSO NOTE THAT THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CAME JUST AFTER April 5. Is it an April fool’s joke?

Not laughing as no doubt this will cost the US taxpayers billions before we stop laughing!

And with GM less than 30 days away from bankruptcy.

You know the ruling Socialists want us to "Hop on the Bus, Gus". This just gets us closer (and broker).

Without offending anyone south of the 49th parallel, the following does not happen in Canada:-Nobody goes bankrupt due to health issues.-Nobody goes without medication.-I pay slightly more taxes that my American brothers, a small price to pay to ensure everyone's well being.Socialism is not a dirty word. Socialism is not Communism. It was corruption and mismanagement that got you all into the mess you are in! You will get out of this mess by coming together not polarizing between right and left wingers. Find the middle ground! The world is paying for this fiasco.

No offense taken.
BTW: My Canadian brothers complain about the loooong wait to get their health needs taken care of due to Socialized medicine. Also the tax load in Socialized countries is tremendous in some. How much is your gas and beer? How's your currency holding up?
I'll stick with Capitalism,thanks.
We need change here at the top levels but not the kind we're currently getting. One or two new heads can't do it alone.

Especially when we were promised it wouldn't be the "Same Old Thing" but then they appoint all the same old faces. Business as usual. If you question anything at all you are branded as a partisan.

I'm personally not in a mess and I don't appreciate my money being spent on those who are due to mismanagement. I've created my own personal messes in the past and I cleaned them up myself with out government backing. That's how you learn from your mistakes. That's how I was taught capitalism was suppose to work.

Just my two cents

there is no need to bash... just start to broom your own porch yourself first.
And soon you see that not only THEY made mistakes, but YOU yourself too are responsible for most of your own trouble. (I mean each single person)

As Sinisternerd I am brooming up my own mess and allthough I could blame many others (mainly US-citizens living down here who betrayed me), I first blame myself for not to have opened the eyes at time.

(Mr Greenspan was holding up his finger way long time ago not for nothing, and far before that I learned that trees do not grow into heaven... or they run out of water and stay at an apropiate size, or they go down somehow. => There are only very few Sequolla...even in US)

Now there is just one thing left to do:
Wrap up the sleeves and push the oxcart out of the mud.

Best regards
