Does anyone have a yamaha 650 and sidecar setup not the vstar the
older like in the late 70s or early 80s if so I would like to hear
how this has worked out and what kind of sc you have. I love this
forum.

1972 XS2 with Velorex 562. Fore years Velorex used to advertise the 562 yoked to an XS650.
Great little set-up. Enjoyed it immensely!
One of the favorite combo's is the XJ of XS with a 562 Velorex or URAL mounted. A fun inexpensive way to start out your sidecar experience.
They will run at hiway speeds but have a fairly short range due to fuel limitations. That is easily remedied however.

I had A 1981 650 and backedtracked in life to some of my childhood
homes and as I recall the bike was A pleasure to ride and with the
occasional chain adj. and oil changes I had little problems. Here
where I live you do not see many rigs in fact the only person I know
who has one has an Enfield rig and his advice is like the xmas story
you dont need one you will shoot your eye out. I just consider the
