Wow! That's some footage. I'm struck by a few things:
1. All that lumber - I suppose they used boards 'cause that was a cheap and easy thing to do in a day when paved roads were almost non-existant. It sure looks extravagent now though.
2. During the heat race, a lot of the people in the infield seemed to be looking at things other than the race for some reason.
3.The shots of the sidecars and the the 100 mi. race where the camera over takes the race pack are really nice shots with a modern feel.
4. The monkeys don't have much to do in a boardtrack race. Unlike the GP sidecar race I saw at Laguna Seca around 1989.
5.AND, of course, the bikes and sidecars in motion. The internet is so cool for stuff like this. That is some rare, old footage that 99.9% of people wouldn't care about but we (who do care) can now see at home, on demand, some film that a Czechoslovakian in the 20's took.
