still trying to find the right combination for my 562 i'm 65yrs riding since i was 12. not steady any more on my feet. got a good price on a v star 650. we just cruse the back roads now. will this work for me? thanks ken in venice fl.
The V star 650 will be a good match for this sidecar, My office manager has one of our Kenna sidecars on her V 650 as such we have developed bike specific mounts and soon will also offer triple tree's for it.

My rig is a V-Star 650 with a Velorex 562 on it. I did get the bike specific mounts but everything on the bike is stock. It handles really well, no wobble or pulling of any kind. I love it!
I also have a 650 V-Star / Velorex combo. I also used the DMC custom mounts and they worked well. I feel it to be a good combination. The low gearing of the V-Star pulls the rig along strongly.
