I suppose he wants to recover the Ebay commission too, which may explain why he wants more than he offered it to me for. Kinda surprising that at first he didn't even let anybody know it was for sale, then after I couldn't make it down to buy it before xmas he put it on Ebay and didn't even bother with the free for sale forums like the one here.

Hmmm, interesting. He says he can store it for up to 30 days. Maybe you can still get it for $1000 outside of eBay since he already offered it to you for that before listing it, then he could hang onto it until after Christmas when you go to FL.

I, too, don't see why he didn't list it here first. LOTS more hack enthusiasts watching our list I would assume.

He told me he needs $$$ for xmas shopping and wanted me to pay for it now if I wasn't going to pick it up until after xmas. I told him I want to see it first, and if he didn't want to hang on to it he was free to sell it to someone else. I'm about 700 miles from his place, so not worth a 1400 mile round trip just for a $1000 sidecar.

Well, now he has up to four more days to sit and sweat whether or not it will sell before you can pick it up. He had a sale today for sure, but for the sake of $100 won't take it. I could have even picked it up tomorrow, too! Unfortunately for him, it's condition is a bit too rough for most buyers who really want something to just "set it and forget it". It does look like it would pull fine in it's present condition, but it sure LOOKS ratty!

For anybody else reading this that might be interested in paying that much, it would be a nice car if the frame were sandblated/painted, some body work with paint, new upholstery and new rag top, and the chrome on the mount struts need to be re-chromed. Can't tell anything about the wiring, but that's pretty minor.

Not a Roadmaster (a 2015 Vintage) but sharp Rig none the less.

That's one beautiful rig. Do you know who made the sidecar? Look even enter that the Spyder.
