My rigs (and Petey's too). Options are good. '96 FLH/Liberty and '03 FXDWG/Spalding.

The FXDWG/Spalding now belongs to a lady in Idaho. I'm down to my trusty old FLH/Liberty once again. Although it's not the same bike as it started life as. Now powered by an S&S 111 cu in. power plant. I love it!! So does Petey.

After a long journey my rig had its first flight! Terrible wobble at low speed, but a little sung up of the streeing head bearings took care of most of that. The GL1200 is a PITA to adjust the bearings.

Looing good, nice to see you got her on the road now. hope you get many miles of great times ahead . yeah, all the wings are a pain to tighten the steering head bearings.Β

This was my first rig. 2004ish. An ironhead Sporty with a Velorex. It didn't seem so small until my BIG brother got in it. I didn't own a car at the time, this was my daily.Β

Dave, nice looking set up. Did you build your own LL or buy aftermarket?Β

Thanks, I bought it from a seller on Italian eBay, it was built by Sidecar Italia. I described the installation in a thread on ADVRider. (I am davet2 over there.)

Β Very good looking Tour Glide

Thanks Smitty, I've had it for 10 years and it has gone through a few changes in that time. I started with a stock Harley sidecar, it now has a Lak sidecar frame with a suspension and the front end has changed twice now. I put on an EML trail reducer from Eurowing 4 or 5 years ago and put the leading link on last year.

(New to the Forum) Yamaha FZ1 with a Hanagan sidecar. I sent the bike to Hanagan's and they created the frame custom to fit the bike. Of course they did the full sorting of the toe-in, bike angle, etc. Β The package has elec. tilt, sidecar braking linked with the rear motorcycle brake, and numerous styling options. In addition to the sidecar build, I also added a color matching five point race harness to help keep my son properly oriented during our rides.Β

I've owned this hack for 19 years and have enjoyed many miles with my handicapped son aboard.Β

Ben

Welcome aboard, that is a fine looking rig you have there. I'm sure in those 19 years you and your son have had some wonderful times with it

I as I am sure others would like to hear about some of them if you care to share.Β
