On the Double Bandit I have added a tonneau cover that covers the windshield as well as the tub. Plus a black tonneau for the tub itself. I also added a Ram Mount ball for either a cell phone or a cup/jug holder for long trips in the tub and also on the Bandit itself. On the Ural I have added a mirror to the sidecar. A sidecar soft door. A ram ball for the tub and for the tug. A Tacho and reworked the taillight.   The Ural is fun but they are just tragically slow and unreliable.

Buy the time we purchased the twin classic we knew what we needed and wanted. had it set up with all of it right away.

However I do want to add another air vent . When the top is on it needs a little more air flow on a hot day.

Also considering a snap on cover so I can remove windshield and top when riding alone. Doing so will reduce drag and increase MPG.

Not enough pics on this thread.  Remember the famous Internet slogan - Pics or it didn't happen!

I remember when it was hard to take pics and you had to do this weird thing - drop them off, develop them, and pic them up.

Guess I better post a pic so I don't get called out.

Here' s what I added to my sidecar recently - the front end of a different one.

The second pic is why I had to.

I was never a fan of body work, not that I haven't done a bunch. Just not my favourite thing.

Here’s a couple for Ya Drew

this came with the rig but didn’t have the Snaps installed. That was a lesson in itself.

I tried working with bondo once.  Put a layer on, sand it back off.  Put another layer on, sand it back off.  Third time it dawned on me there was no forward progress  (yes I'm v-e-r-y slow. lol)  Body work is an art.  Patience and vision.  People who can do it are awe inspiring.   🙂

I'll do the metal shaping hammer and dollie stuff but I can't stand the fill and sand process.

My simple solution?  I make Chloe do it.  The tub is her turf after all.

Over the years I have owned my 2013 Gear Up (5 years now) I have added/changed a few things.  Swapped the tractor seat for a 2/3 seat from a Ct, moved the rear fender rack to the sidecar fender, added driving lights on the front bumper, converted the factory spotlight to function as a second headlight with high/low beam, leg shields, added a cane/flagpole holder on the sidecar step, and LED lights all around.  Something I may or may not install in the future is the machine gun mount that came with the rig when I bought it.  Not really interested in putting a fake MG on it, perhaps use it as a second flag mount for parades and such.

My second rig, a recently acquired 2010 Royal Enfield C5 with an older Inder sidecar, hasn't received any add-ons yet.  I did take something off already, does that count? lol.  I removed the remnants of the sidecar windshield mount and will be getting some rubber plugs for the holes left behind.  Also corrected (sort of) the terrible set up it had, complete with loose mounts, frozen struts and a bad case of lean in.

Before

After

Poor Chloe,,,lol.

Actually I bet it's great to have a spouse willing to get in there and work on "OUR" rig.

When I was young I had a girlfriend that helped me change a transmission in my 73 Monte Carlo.  I loved her for that. Wonder where she is now,,,,lol.

I've added almost 2,000 miles of smiles, and a better windscreen to help keep the bugs out of my teeth.  Also installed an adjustable mug holder.  It is specifically positioned on the front rack so the wind draws the hot mocha out, and splatters all over the sidecar windscreen.  😉

This winter there are more plans to fix up the rig.  🙂

Pictures:  * MRA Vario Screen (great first step to reduce buffeting).  * Strategically placed cup holder to keep the monkey busy looking at "Mocha Splatter Patterns."  Rorschach would be proud.

Measured out the tub placement so I can order the struts.

Doing Toe in annoys me.  I can never move the thing right.  Move measure, too much.  Move measure too little.  Bump it. Start all over.

Thankfully my eager monkey was there to help.

You put the right toe in.  Pull the right toe out.  Put the right toe in, and you shake it all about.

Sounds pretty fun to me. 🙂
