I'd love to have the Mrs and our boy to be able to ride together. I just got a used HOG.

Of Champion, Hannigan, Motorvation, DMC, Texas, etc, can you recommend a brand that is big enough for the bike, but basic enough to be at the lower end in price ranges.

I tried several searches through the forums, but didn't find an answer to this.

I live near Baltimore and found two resellers in nearby PA.

Thanks,
Tony

P.S. I also have a low mi '09 Kawasaki Versys which I could swap for a setup worth about $5K.

How about a Kenna Double? This is a real doublewide open car.

Thanks.

Someone offered up a used Harley TLE sidecar and it's now in my garage.

Get the Sidecar Service Manual from Harley that matches your bike or sidecar year so you know what parts kit you will need to mount the car correctly. #99485-XX

Thanks for going above and beyond !

As I suspected, there are $100-200 in parts (brake-related, long clutch cable, etc. ) that were probably left on the prior bike. I have a 1999 sidecar and a 2000 bike.

Thanks
Tony

That's a very close match. If I were you, I'd order any parts that you need in the very near future. It's unknown how long parts will be available for HD sidecars since it appears that they will no longer take orders for new ones.

I worked this week on getting the bike ready and attaching the sidecar. Here are some pics.

Many thanks to gnm109 who gave valuable advice to add a 12" vertical extension to the brake line T for the sidecar connection. I went to NAPA and got the parts I needed.
