Claude,
I guess it makes a difference weight wise if you are using A36 or Armor plate. The different alloys weigh differently. Just like different sand minerals.

How long is a 40# wait anyways?

I bought softside insulated picnic bags on sale at Ace Hardware, They were small, maybe 5x5x12, Filled them with wheel weights from my tire dealer (he gave them to me), The bags weigh 20 lbs apiece and I usualy keep two behind the seat and one in the nose...60# at a cost of $3.99 each times three. Works for me, and they have a handle to lift them out.

Sidecar expert and technical wizard Lonnie asked:

Sir,
If you mean 'weight' then it would depend on how thick it is.
If you really mant 'wait' it depends upon what you are waiting for. If you are waiting to go to the dentist it is shorter than if you were waiting to pick up that new sidecar. Unless of course you like the whinning of the drill combined with smoke coming out of your mouth.
Waits can be measured differently by different people the sdame way we have found in this thread that weights can be measured differently too.Is there really more gravity at the equator than the north pole?.

I think I would reccomend a belt fed machine gun and enough ammo to keep the chair on the ground.

In my previous post I stated that my ballast in the form of Archie weighed 70 plus pounds. We were at the vet's yesterday and he sat on the scale at 84 pounds. Heaviest he's ever been. So the longer we wait, the more he weighs. But then again, he's more than an inch thick and a foot square...

Now WATE a minute youse guys,
Your getting out of hand.
I know how long a ten minute wait is, so I'm not completely out of it (Yet).
14# gain for Archie, huh? Did he quit smoking? That's about what I gained when I quit cigarettes 22 years ago.

We quit taking our daily walks... It's a wonder I haven't gained the same 14 lbs. or even twice that. But even at that Arch can run further and faster than his old fat dad... Maybe he should be on the bike and me in the car?

Claude, I imagine Sdame will have a very long wait in prison. Maybe a lifetime's worth of wait.
I think there is more weight at the Equator because it's bigger around than the Arctic.
