I'm getting new tires a brake pads on my Harly Road Glid with a Texas Ranger sidecar. I'm leaving next Sat. and meet my solo budy,in (Sparks Ok.) and camp sat. Then Sunday off to Co. then on to Ut then to Id, Wy. Yellow Stone then to Cody Wy. then to Sturgis for a few day's. Then back toward home thru Ne., Ia., Mo. then back to Ar. Should be a good ride. We should be gone about 12 to 14 day's. But we might go to Montana just for a day. We don't know that just yet. I didn't get to the Nation because of hay Equipment brake down's. Put me behind three weeks but it's done now. And off I go. Rudy

I'm just about ready to go sidecar packed I mean packed. My son has decied he's going also that is great, but more thing in the side car 2 cots( 18 in.off grond kind that's ther only kind for me)2 sleeping bag's 2 chair's cook gear ice chest(fold up type)cold weather clothes(just go to south dakta with just short sleve's and see what happiens. And odd's and end. I'm waiting on my K&N to dry then a littel oil and I'm ready. We plan on about 5 day's on the road befor we get to Sturgis. my son is rideing solo also on a Fat Boy, he's young he will make it. Lot's of SPAM and instant oatmeal.Rudy

I'd worry more about rain gear than cold weather gear.
Be prepared for at least one big gullywasher and thunderstorm squalls and maybe a little 100 degree stuff in the Badlands and around Wall Drug.

I'm back, 12 day's on the road 3900 mile's. Met many good people that or really thinking about hack's, for them and their mate. Or just like me hauling cargo, dog couldn't not go this time. To much cargo with my son and my riding buddy things.Rudy
Guy's I've got to tell you something. I work 57 miles round trip to work at 5 days a week and a littel running around on weekend dosen't add up to 600 miles per week . You would think a guy worked at a place 28 year's and then for two year contracted to work would know how far it was to work.rudy
