Hi Everybody,
I am new to the forum from western Pennsylvania, and although there are lots of miles under my belt on two wheels, I am very new to the sidecar world. I have lots to learn and appreciate any help you want to offer.
Russ

Good looking rig, Russ.
Start with the free books offered on the home page here and practice what you read for starters.

Thanks Lonnie.
I am planning on putting (3)- 25# bags of shotgun shot behind the seat for ballast. What are your thoughts on this?

Welcome to the world of Sidecaring. The shot is good if you can strap it out board as far as you can that is best. I also started that way. I am with Loninie practice, practice, and then practice.

Welcome to the forum

Cool lookin rig. Ballast is a good idea until you get used to a sidecar. Remember you got a hack on there when pulling into a parking spot.

Russ,
Here is a link to the books provided by Hal Kendall that Lonnie mentioned:

Also in looking at your location we are about 3 1/2 hours east of you. If you ever want to come visit I would be happy to spend some time with you and your rig. We are in Middleburg about 50 miles north of Harrisburg.

75# should do it and that's a good spot to place it.
