I ran an S-40 with a velorex 562 for over three years and 35 thousand miles.
Handled very well, got 45 mpg most of the time.
Carried me and my gear through Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, British Colombia, and Vancouver Island.
No serious troubles, so far as I have heard the new owner is still having fun with it 3 years after he got it.
I ran a michelin darkside on the rear and a 19 in Avon sidecar special up front.
Changed belt drive for chain so I could pick my ratios.
I ran year round, rain, sleet, snow, and occasionally sunshine.
Hope yours works out as well.

We offer bike specific mounts for this bike should you have issue's with the Velorex "universal" type mounts. Attached are some photo's of an S 40 we did a while back with a little bit of custom work on both the sidecar and the bike. The sidecar is a Contenental.

Some may think tha 650 single is not enough for a sidecar tug.

Let me point out that The British 650 Panther was a highly respected hack puller a few decades ago.
In fact the frame came with sidecar lug mount points from the factory.
The long stroke sloper was an admirable power unit for the job.
