Need some selection help
Hey guys and gals, newbie here needing some advice for a sidecar. Riding a 09 Triumph America. Great bike. What might be a good choice for this.
I have a 13 t-100 with a motorvation spyder, perfect match

Welcome CC, welcome Tom. Some of the experts who know the current market will be along soon.
The Velorex 563 Tour works well.
We make bike specific NOT universal mounts for this bike that come with most of our sidecars. Our Kenna is our least expensive sidecar at only $3695, The M72 type sidecars the most popular for the Truimphs. We have three new one in the works right now, all were purchase from our local dealer to have the sidecar installed and then the bikes with the sidecars shipped to their new owners. Bike specific mounts are very important as "universal" type mounts (offered by Velorex, cozy and others) work poorly at best and tend to slip over time where as proper bike specific mounts spread the loads, move the mounting points further apart then you other wise could which makes for a more ridged installation. By making a proper sub frame it allows us to have the lower mounts the same distance off of the ground which makes alignment much easier. When the mounts are not the same distance off of the ground when you adjust your lean out you end up changing your toe in setting making it hard to find the spot where every thing works well. Also by making proper bike specific mounts and sidecars that have adjustable lower mounts it allows us to set the wheel lead where it should be rather then setting wheel lead where it is possible with the mounts as is more often then not the case with Velorex sidecars. Wheel lead is how far the sidecar wheel is ahead of the bikes rear wheel. Wheel lead should be set at about 10-15% of the wheel base of the bike. In the case of the Velorex and Cozy sidecars there is no proper way to adjust this, Wheel lead is set on these sidecar by where you place the lower front "universal" frame clamp. If there is machinery such as exhaust pipes in the way, then wheel lead is usually set wrong. At this link you can see an example of a Velorex that came into our shop and how we changed it to work with real proper fully adjustable mounts http://www.dmcsidecars.com/the-result-of-improper-sidecar-mounting-and-the-proper-fix/
I have attached a photo of the mounts that come with our sidecars for your bike.
