Guys: I have been a member of the USCA for awhile. I currently ride an '88 BMW R100RT w/Ural hack that was installed by Jay Guise and DMC about 6 years ago. I am considering installing a Champion Escort hack onto my '04 BMW R1150RT, but my experience with DMC sucked rocks and I had problems too numerous to mention here in detail, which dragged on for nearly a year. Suffice to say I wrote a complaint letter to the Seattle area Better Business Bureau, and I will never have any work done by DMC again. I need a recommendation for an experienced, reputable shop to do the installation for for me, hopefully somewhere within a day's ride...a day being defined as 8 hours or so. I live in Moscow, Idaho, in the Idaho Panhandle, which is about 1.5 hours south of Coeur d' Alene and interstate 90. Any suggestions?

Don't know whether Lonnie Cook is still installing or not. He certainly did a beautiful job of putting a Velorex on my Triumph T100. He's located in Boise and his business is called Northwest Sidecars. You can email him at nwsidecar@aol.com. He's also listed as an installer right here on the USCA site. Good luck.

I'll have to pass on this offer. I'm no longer working with late model Beemers or Gold Wings.
