Dayum Kathleen! Jumping right in like a fearless gen alpha! You are most definitely on the path to sidecar stardom. I regret only that I will not be at the Rally this summer.
My best suggestion is to hit the “old” Wing forums and look for problematic parts to acquire. Some things are harder to find than others and knowing what to look for is a good idea.
You both are going to have a great time traveling and exploring!

I have more than 3,000 miles to go, just to get there, then comes the return trip.

Kathleen, 'taint nuttin. We are in Europe right now, having driven around 5 countries, whilst awaiting the arrival of our Euro-Wing sidecar rig, that was shipped from the US to Heidelberg, Germany. It's here now, so we are sidecaring it around Germany.
Be back home in the US later next week.

Oh that was fun to watch! I used to love schoolhouse rock. My sister had Dr. Henry Beechold As her freshman English Professor- He wrote schoolhouse rock. She said he was a really nice guy, and she also loved schoolhouse rock!
OK, so I'm dating myself here but I watched them live on Saturday mornings as a pre-teen. Now I'm the OG in the school.

Hello everyone,
I regret to say, I am unable to make it to the Maine Rally. Something has come up in my life right now that makes it impossible for me to get away. I was very much looking forward to meeting everyone.
Also, I am so grateful that several of you offered to work On my rig.
I have had no work done on it. It has just been sitting under tarps, which makes me very sad. I have to put that project on a back burner for right now. Maybe just stick it in my garage until next year I don’t know. But I just wanted to thank you all for your kindness towards me. I hope to meet you at the rally even if perhaps I just show up to say hello on my motorcycle that has no sidecar.
I thought I would throw this out there before I call and cancel my hotel reservations. I have a reservation at the Comfort inn in Brunswick Maine from June 11 and checking out June 16. I just thought before I call and cancel the hotel. I should put this in a post in case somebody from the group needed a reservation there and couldn’t get one. I’ll I’ll wait a day before I cancel the reservation just in case someone needs it.
I also had a campsite reserved one that had electricity that I’m going to call Tom Rhodes this afternoon when he gets home and cancel that also. So if somebody needs a site with electric, that one will be available.
I’m so so sorry. I could not make it to the rally, but I hope to meet up with some of you Nice folks along the way somewhere.
I will be riding my rig until I find someone who can fix it, until then I will study up!

I’m sorry, I should have proofread that before I sent it. I was using speech to text, and sometimes I talk too fast for the text. I won’t be at the rally on my regular motorcycle. I was meaning to say I would love to meet up with people at any other group meeting That I can get to On my Magna.
And the other type of was that I have been writing my rig.
But no, not until I get it fixed
