It’s the same old roadways, except now I’m exploring them with the sidecar. I’m gradually learning what kind of force and speed is required in order to lift the sidecar off the ground. I have an actually lifted off the ground yet, and I don’t know that I ever really need to or want to. I think I’ve read in here, That somebody suggested it would be a good idea to intentionally lift the sidecar up, so that I would know how to handle it when it DOES go up, and I can see the logic in that.
I was able to touch base with one of the local members of this sidecar Association, who lives relatively close to me, and I anticipate being able to spend some time letting him instruct me a bit, because he’s got more experience than I do. I guess I’m telling you that because I appreciate the little booklet that your organization put out, with all the names in there.
So the adventure continues........
I got into sidecars almost 10 years ago and haven't looked back. I've had more fun on three wheels than I did on two for almost 50 years of riding on two. I think you're a wise man to get with a more experienced man with experience on sidecars. It's definitely different. I think you're going to love it.
