Need a little help/info. I found a r80rt rig with a leading link front end. Made by a builder in Arizona in the mid 90's. Any idea of what the front end is worth? The rig needs some work from just sitting, but am really interested in the front end.
Thanks,
Fred

This might help a little, DMC sells a leading link front end for the KLR650 for around $2000

I suspect the R80RT leading link was made by Neff Design and Engineering.

Neff being a BMW specialist built many LL's, conversion parts and subframes for early Beemers, in Arizona. Sometimes it took quite a while due to his major health issues. I once waited 3 months for a /5 to URAL subframe that didn't fit at all. The bike mount holes were almost 1 full inch off. I don't know what went wrong on his end but he did give me a refund. I made my own subframes on the bikes for a long time after that experience, using Perry's (Ft. Worth BMW) mounting bits.
