I got my packet yesterday. I thought I had read you get some kind of pen in the packet. Is this an ink pen, a lapel pen? Are you supposed to wear a lapel pen at functions to show you're a member? No big deal at all. But I didn't get any kind of pen. Maybe they quit including them? Will I be kicked out of the rally,,,,lol.
Ha! Who doesn't like a joke at introduction. You'll fit right in at the rallies, pen,pin,or whatever you feel like showing up wearing. 🤣
There is a secret.....handshake.....but it can only be shown to you once you have brought 100 Donut Holes to your first sidecar rally.

A 3" (or so) patch should be included in the welcome packet. I don't recall a pin, but it's been a while since I joined. Scariest part is that they let ME be secretary!

The US Post Office started confiscating the pins, calling them a weapon of minimal destruction. Actually, they no longer allow the mailing of things of a prickly nature.

Um, about that, Jon. I noticed a distinct LACK of holes, though VAST numbers of actual donuts while at Iuka.
<ETA> Oh, I reread that and, yes, it should not be surprising that there were no holes at Iuka, since there was a concomitant absence of FM.

Mine is also inverted with the wide part of the "triangle" on top. Clearly I must be a red headed stepchild...
