I am currently in the IOM watching the TT races, my first trip here, and the first time I have actually seen racing sidecars. What a blast they are, nearly as fast around the citcuit as the superbikes! Also, I have seen more street ridden hacks than any place I have been (other than sidecar ralleys). I saw one (to me) unusual rig, an MZ ?? maybe. I asked the driver if it was Russian...he replied in a heavy German accent "German, German....NO RUSSIAN". Geez, Arnie will probably raise my taxes for such blunder.Anyway, now I want a Hannigan ZX14 HP rig. Can I post a video taken from my digital? The picture is awfully short since they are going so fast, but the sound is killer (I'm not good at this, particularly on the road, and won't be home for several weeks).

Sounds like a blast. I have always wanted to go to IOM and now have another reason.

The MZ Silver Star 500 Gespann units with Velorex sidecar were (and maybe still are) available from Motorrad of North America in Datona Beach, FL.
Good looking lightweight Sidehack rig powered by a 5 speed Thumper.

Post the video to Youtube.com, Flickr.com, or your favorite photo/video hosting web site. They all usually provide a link that allows you to link the video to other sites. Then just paste the link here.

If you have problems let me know. You can email it to me and I'll post it for you rob@mx3technology.com
