Identify This Sidecar?
Anyone recognise this sidecar? Looks as if it is just pre or post WW2. Any help appreciated.
Posted smaller photo file.
It is very difficult to identify it cause it looks like a small blue square with a white question mark in it.

Hi Aero, I can't open the attachment. Please re-size it down to about 640 pixels wide and/or 200K size -- much easier to manage on forums.

Sorry! Hope you can open this.
It is old British, note the knock off hub. That is something most manufacturers stopped in the fifties or sixties.
Seems to be a wooden body, that might be a clue.
The roofed over style was common in England.
Its wooden body covered in aluminium. Wooden canopy which hinges along its length towards the bike. Small luggage compartment under the floor of the rear seat, and small glove box in front of main passenger with hinged, drop down cover.
Watsonian Ascot VG 21 chassis, hope you have a nice rigid Triumph for it.
I visited your IOM for the 96 MGP, a fabulous place to visit.
I'm pretty sure it a VG21 chassis, but I think its more like the Watsonian Light Maxstoke than the Ascot. Neither has that curved rear end though. Probably going on a Velocette.
Keep us informed please about this interesting combination. I had a Velo for a while, bitsa, Scrambler frame, VM motor.
I am interested in motorcycling history and enjoy reading about the Waycott ISDT Velo, plenty on the web about that machine.
looking at your sidecar body, does the perspex windscreen curve up into the roof a bit? Then perhaps it is a Blackwell San Remo body?
