Here comes the next chapter.

As many of you know, I sold my Valkyrie/Ural rig last December. I had been running the Valkyrie with first a Dnepr and then a Ural sidecar for about 5 years. There was nothing wrong with the combination, in fact, I believe the Valkyrie is the best sidecar rig I've ever ridden. It was just time for something new.
Last winter, I bought a 1999 Moto Guzzi from fellow member Newfiedad. I've owned about every common motorcycle brand out there, including 3 Harley rigs, a Goldwing/HitchHiker, an XS850/Dnepr, an XS1100/Ural, and the Valkyrie. I have never owned a Moto Guzzi. I was torn as to whether to hack it or leave it alone and find a sidecar for one of the other bikes.
The decision was made last week when I got an email from a gentleman in southern Wisconsin. He had an old sidecar looking for a new home. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was perfect for the old Italian bike.
It's currently set up for a /2 BMW, but stay tuned boys and girls. We'll see how this adventure goes. :0)
They make a handsome couple.

Excellent find Mike. THAT is still one of my favorite sidecar models be it Motorvation or Millray.
Bueatiful rig and of course being on a guzzi helps!Look forward to seeing it at Cameron!!A long time guzzi rider since the 70s!

The two pieces are just setting together in the photo. I'm not a welder, so I need to wait until my bank accout catches up before I can go further.
Mike
Wow, izzat ever cool! Can you lock that door in the down position? I can just picture it now, squeaky muffled noises emanating from the hack and barely visible lip movements behind the steamy side glass.... Such an invention! Kudos for your sense of adventure!
