Sure will Lonnie. That's part of the order. Tom Samuelson was the first one who told me about it, then you and others here. Then my good bud Ned Akerman said he wishes he would have when he had his H-D/Legend. He didn't. Got rid of it instead. Now rides an RK solo at the ripe young age of 84. I just spent last week end at a campout with him.

I figured I'd posted my story enough here and on other boards that I stay out of this one. Oh well... here's the Readers Digest condensed version. Bought a Ural a couple years ago to see if I'd like riding on three wheels. To see if Archie would take to it. To see if Barb would ride with me again if she could ride in the tub rather than the back seat. Two out of three ain't bad. I loved it. Archie loved it. Barb didn't. The Harley sat gathering dust. Sold the Ural. Ordered a Liberty from Pete in Seattle. Life is good but it's gonna get a whole lot better! Countin' the days...

Hey Tom, who ended up with your Ural?

I plan on coming to your bunny burn next spring... If you do it again that is... Just saw the notice about a Mt St Helens campout on the board here. Wish I had a dual sport rig now. Don't think I'll be doing any more riding like our Cougar Rock run with the Harley. What a blast that was!

My rig is a 2005 Classic with TLE sidecar and I love it. That being said there are a few things I'm going to change.

The power is a little low for me so I plan on increasing the displacement to either a 95 or 103. The stearing is a little heavy, okay a lot heavy, so I'll most likly change out the triple tree and I'll add a reverse gear.

I will most likely also take off the pillion and make the Tourpack a detachable one with rider backrest.

Other than that the combination is everything I had hoped it would be. The wife likes it so much that she won't ride behind me on my other bikes any more.

I installed the reverse on my '95 Road King rig and only used it twice. Never had to either time. I was just checking it out. By the time I found neutral and got the tranny shifted into reverse, I found it was easier (and quicker) to push back with the left foot.
That was two very expensive shifts.

Glad to hear that Lonnie. That was one concern I had. How much would I miss the reverse that the Ural had...

Do come down for the Bunny BBQ. The Harley will be just as much fun, you will just be doing a little different riding

I'm thinking it will be more fun in the long run. It has 84K on the odometer now (all my miles) but if I'd kept riding it the last few years like before it should have over 100K! And it does see dirt roads here plenty. We live on a dirt road and we're making preparations to move to the farm. It's on a primitive road. Just won't be chasing you and Andy, or Aaron or Doug!
