Looks for sure that, Bud, our former Louisiana state representative, is going to have flood waters in his home by Sunday. His house is located just inside the West levee of the Atchafalaya floodway, and the gates at the Morganza spillway (which re-directs Mississippi River waters down the floodway and away for Baton Rouge & New Orleans) scheduled to open on Thursday, for the first time since 1973. Fellow sidecarist Carney is down there assisting family & friends with his preparation & evacuation -- as well as getting his rig to higher ground. 🙂
Unfortunately, both will miss the sidecar muster this weekend. 🙁
I hope other sidecarist are not affected by the floods. Oh yeah, central Texas is nearing drought: 12+ inches behind in rain the year with no appreciable rain in the past 90 days.

Hi Lee, sorry to hear of the flooding, it seems to be hitting a lot of people this year, a friend of mine is under water too. I still haven't got my rig on the road yet, and have a rental car reserved, hope to see you at the muster.
