Any suggestions for longer-wearing tires? I have HD w/HD sidecar and have always run the stock Dunlop tires. My sidecar and front tire each get about 6,000 miles. I've heard the Metzler ME880 touring tires get good mileage. I'm going to try them next, has anybody else? Thanks for any imput.

If the front tire and sidecar are only getting this mileage you have an alignment problem. It's normal for a rear tire to wear out at this mileage. The other two usually last much longer.

A while back there was a police officer on here (Dean?) who talked about using Dunlop Police tires, If I remember right, he said he used to get pretty good life out of them.

I believe Dunlop changed the rubber formula and they are lasting longer than the ME880s now. I used to run ME880 but the last one I mounted didn't last as long as the original Dunlop.
