New to the forum. Wanted to see if anyone has a Hannigan classic twin on GL 1800? If so, how do you like it? How well does it track with the GL? Any thoughts appreciated. thanks, a newbie

Great sidecar. I see more of them on HD tugs. I see more of the GTLs and Astro on Wings, but I'm with you on looks of the Classic Twin. I also like letting the monkey stay in the wind, too, but friends with the more enclosed ones have wives who like the calm air for reading, knitting and sleeping. Hey, that's why they make different kinds, right? Spent a good bit of time in the Weaverville/Asheville area along the BRP. With that in mind, my only suggestion is to make sure you get the convertible top with it. Passengers seem to like being kept warm and dry, even when we as riders are enjoying some cold blasts of air.

I have a Hannigan on my Gl1500SE that count? My rig Tracks well, no wobble. 15000 miles last two years no problems.

Great information, I was hedging on getting the top and now will probably do that. My wife actually rides her own trike but I have others to consider. I know many like the enclosed side car (GL2) for the wings, but I still like the classic styling of a sidecar! Keep you posted.

Thank you. That's great information and supports my belief that the Hannigan is worth the wait time! Met Mr. and Mrs. Hannigan in Daytona during bike week and have spoken with Mrs. since. Seem like really nice people to deal with. How does it work without a reverse? Keep you posted. Thanks
