I just purchased a used 1989 Gold Wing with I think is a California sidecar FS III.
The previous owners didn't know much about it. They didn't have it long and didn't have much experience either.
The bike does have 110K and needs a rear tire. Side car miles unknown and has good tire.
I test rode it with some wobble going on at low speed take off and pulling left and right at acceleration and decelerations.
Which I heard can be remedied.
Then I rode it home slow to get used to the new rig. Over 3 hour ride, half the ride in the rain.
So I am looking for some good advice and things that I should look for in this unit. I am still not sure what year it is or where to
look for serial numbers or model numbers on the unit.
Any advice appreciated. I don't know where to get it serviced, (near Waterloo, IA).
The bike is the same year-make-model-color as one of my other bikes but has about 30k more miles.
