2005 Road King with California 2 sidecar for sale
2005 Harley Davidson Road King with California 2 sidecar. Just over 30,000 miles. New front tire and sidecar tire. Rear tire has about 50% tread left. All fluids changed about 500 miles ago, engine oil, transmission oil and primary oil. Also the timing chain tensioners were replaced at the same time and everything in the timing chest inspected and assembled with new gaskets. Also inspected the top rocker arms and installed new gaskets all around. This bike runs great and does not leak or burn any oil. A John Sweet “Ezee Steer” system is installed on the front axle and it makes steering this rig so easy. It’s really like having power steering. The rig is balanced and will ride down the road straight without pulling to either side. There is a camber adjustment up and down switch on the left handlebar for the sidecar but it rides so good I seldom touch it. The sidecar wheel has disc brake which is linked to the rear foot brake on the bike. There is an adjustable coil over shock on the sidecar suspension. The leather sidecar seat is very comfortable. All the electrics work as they should and I have taken several long rides on country roads and the rig was totally reliable and the handling was very predictable. This bike runs good and needs nothing but a new owner. $12,500 or maybe a little less. Location is in Little River, SC Brad Mandell. I can send more pics if interested
That's a nice looking rig! Excellent description of all the details. Interesting to see those Johnny Sweet leading legs. So many guys go with raked triple trees but there's a lot to be said for keeping the fork angle stock. I like it!
That didn't take long! Is the buyer one of this crowd or someone about to become familiar to us?
Illegitemi non carborundum est!
From facebook marketplace. I was surprised at how fast it sold.
