1997 BMW R850-R with DMC model M72 sidecar
Looking to sell my sidecar rig for $10,000. It's a blue 1997 BMW R850-R with 44,418 miles and a DMC model M72 sidecar with a 19" wheel, luggage rack, windshield, and snap on tonneau cover. Rear bike tire is a 165-80-R15 car tire on a DMC conversion rim. Sidecar has "Bullet Bill" decals to resemble the Super Mario Bros character. New pic added showing mileage. Located in Canton, Ohio. I will try to add more pics as I get time. Clearly DRONE knows more details from the pics than I was ever provided with when I bought the rig at auction, so please feel free to refer to his comments for more info.
What's your price on this?
Sorry I forgot to put in the ad. I'd like to get $10000 for the rig.

Jeremy,
Your rig looks nice, however you are missing certain key information. I will let FlyingMonkeys school you regarding your missing data.
Dave

Thanks for the price and location updates.

When selling a used rig, it's always a good idea to NOT disclose the mileage on the bike. Force the potential buyer to ask.
I can tell from the 2nd picture that the sidecar doesn't have a brake rotor. Keeping it simple.
I can tell from the 4th picture that the forks have a DMC trail reducing steering mod, so no need to mention it.
That car looks like a M72D to my eye. The giveaway being the trailing arm mounted UNDER the frame.
Also, Jeremy, can you describe the pusher? Looks to me like a 15" Centerline automobile rim like DMC used to sell, mounted with a 165/80-15 car tire?
Also, are the bike shocks OEM BMW?
Sweet!
Nice... I am not searching another sidecar but... do you know the type of fender you have on your DMC? looks a lot nice than the one on my Expedition (which was made for any type of wheel and... does not any in term of radius!).
Thank you.
The fender came with the sidecar, as far as I can tell. I bought the rig 3 years ago from a Texas auction, but I have all the paperwork showing the sidecar and drive wheel conversion were done in 2011.
