Not sure where to put this post .. but will start here.  Recently purchased a 2009 Ural Tourist (yep the check cleared) so I am looking for wisdom. I can't find a really complete service manual on line .. what do you .. the collective knowledge base of Urals .. have as guidance??

Adolph, congratulations on purchasing your 2009 Ural Tourist.

My best advice is.....given that Ural is basically down in the trenches....and that Subaru is going strong....

Find a wrecked 2006 or earlier Subaru WRX STi, rob the engine out of it, install the 300 hp engine into the Tourist bike frame.

Hang on 😲😁😋😳

Yep, steeds is the best resource for sure. They have a whole section of the forum devoted to maintenance and repair guides. It’s the closest thing to an official manual you can get. Other than that, try to find some other Ural owners who are local to you and make friends. Anyone who owns one of these things for long is bound to eventually become an expert in maintaining them, just because there’s not usually any other choice.
