We now have emoticons!! I added a package to our software. Let's see how this works. 
There should be a little smilie icon in the bottom right corner of the editing window. (Not the smilie icon in the upper toolbar).
However, I have to admit, I am a little disappointed so far. They are limited and funky. All blue. Not very many. I see in the settings I may be able to add some third party icon packs. I'll have to research more...

The emoticons plugin I purchased is more than just their collection of blue emoticons, it is an emoticon manager. I figured out how to add individual items one at a time after I save them as a file.
Here are a couple of examples I copied from advrider from a few random posts. 
So if you have a favorite emoticon copy it here and I will add it to the collection. Also note when you click the emoticon addon (bottom right corner select the 'custom1' group where I will collect them.
Another note: if you click the default smilie icon in the top icon bar above the edit window you can select from a number of common emoticons/smilies (what is the difference??). Like this: 🤑 😮 But the thing to know is you can make them bigger by selecting the icon (drag your mouse over it) and then make the font larger. The default is 11pt.

Is there a size limit? Like 124 points?? Flying Monkeys will need to know!
