The website will be offline on Wednesday, Aug 21, for an extended period of time (hours). Our 3-year Internet hosting service agreement expires at the end of this month so I have purchased a new 3-year agreement. This means I need to move the entire website to a new server and that is what will cause the downtime.
My plan as of now is to put the website in 'maintenance' mode on Tuesday evening late and begin the migration which will run overnight. That means you will see a single page with a large graphic "Under Construction" with no other menus, options, or forums.
On Wednesday morning I will finish the transfer, test everything, and do the final switchover of the DNS (domain name server). If everything goes well we should be back online at least by noon on Wednesday if not earlier.
If anything changes I will update this post or the "Under Construction" page during the process.
