its just an extra day's ride than last summer's run to Mountain View. Kind of been scanning the casinos on the way to entice the wifey to go willingly. With the aid of casinos, we did 4600 miles last summer 🙂
When I went to Alaska I did a little over 10,000 miles in just over a month. LOL I am planning to be there so count me in. I will need a tent site for a small 2 man tent and my small tarp I set up to get out of the rain if it does rain.
Thanks
Jeff
Judy and I will be there.Do they have RV spots? It's easier with the dogs to bring the motorhome with the bikes in the trailer.
Wife and me and dog are going to be there.....We don't do tents cause if we ever slept that long on the ground,,we'd not be able to get up or move....But we will look for a close by motel to stay at...
We are selling our camper right now so that's out also..Anyone know of close motels ??
Dave in Fl.
We thought we had a deal secured with Hardeeville RV but when it came down to final arrangements they backed out. We are now in negotiations with another park just 3 miles up the Interstate. It's still in Hardeeville and should work out great but hang on a little while longer and we should have lots more details to share.
I put everything together @lake jasper RV resort.i spent the wkn`d there &will make full report
Thanks for everybody's efforts!
Looking forward to meeting everybody at the rally. Lots of great riding down in that area!
Nice job gang! This is probably the earliest we've ever had a rally registration form available.
BTW, if you're a Windows user you can right click on the map, choose "Open image in a new tab" and the new window will allow you to resize the map to make it easier [at least for my old eyes] to read.
'Hope to see you all at Camp Lake Jasper!
thanks Joyce I just don`t do well with computer Richard proof read &corrected my report but I couldn`t it to paste maybe he send so people will understand the sites blocked &where the meeting tent will be.stu
Here is my report, I can`t send floor plan but go on web site .We will set up tent 30x50ft on vacant space between sites #3-30 and on the rest of this 300 ft section will be space for tent campers . This is across from both restrooms &laundry bldg. The 29 site around this section will be blocked off for USCA with another 10/12 across if we need .all these sites are full hook-up some pull thru &some back-in .all are very long. They have 30/50 amp electric Wi-Fi & cable TV. The lake front will be $35 &pull through $30. Be sure to state you are USCA when registering to get these rates .the tent site are $10. At this time I am still shopping restaurants but have 3 ea. so far @ $7-8 rate. I am still looking to find an outfit to do Low Country Boil & Mark is also working on that. This location is very good & much better than the first it has almost constant breeze blowing off lake or up from ocean east of us. Do to him saving so many sites he would like early registration & full payment by end of May. We will need work group to help set up tables & chairs in tent Menu choices are China, Mexican bar-b-q, & chicken for sat night. There is Dunlin Donuts close by for Sunday morning. I will have Hobo stew for Thurs. night. I will also need numbers a.s.a.p. as tables & tent size changes the prices.
I booked into the Red Roof Inn. It is a in my price range.
I booked #37 before I left & sent Joyce
my registration &ck today. So for sure we`ll have two rigs there
I know some people don't like doing things on-line but the link below will get it done. Oh don't forget to order your T-shirts.
