Hi Joyce,
I'm new to the Forum and to USCA. Plan to attend the July Rally. Are reservations necessary for RV's at the fairgrounds? If so is there a website or a phone #?
Thank you. Be safe,
Keith
No camping reservations required. There should be plenty of spots available. Looking forward to seeing you there.
The rally info page says tent camping is available with "limited water and electricity." My wife and I were planning on camping onsite but we're wondering what the above means in regards to shower availability and restroom facilities. Any clarification possible on what those facilities are like? I'm just getting my wife back into camping and don't want to toss in a less-than-enjoyable experience. Thanks!

There are nice showers and restrooms and water is available, you might want to pack a collapisable water jug if you want some at your tent. The tent camping is in a group area. It just means that it's not like a KOA with water and electric available for all at the tent. We try to accomodate people with health issues like a CPAP machine who need electric but for the most part it's dry camping. You should be busy enough talking, site seeing and eating that you won't spend much time in the tent anyway.
Thanks, I figured that would be the case but wanted the question put to rest on our end.
Best,
GTRider
I have never been to a USCA rally before. My wife and I are planning on attending this one. What's on the schedule of events? How many people come out to one of these?

I don't remember exact numbers but it seems to me there were around 200 to 240 at the last few.
Here are some pictures from the last few if it helps convince you:

This just in from Billie and it's sounds like we will be having a great rally meal. See the attached flyer.
The St. Vincent De Paul organization has invited our sidecar rally participants to join them for their annual Steak Fry Barbecue. They are offering the dinner to us at a special price of $15 per person. We are paying for dinner out of the registration money and think this is a real good deal. We will be sure to get it in writing. Barb called and said that she had talked to the higher ups that are putting the barbecue on and they said if we have 250 to 300 people they will be glad to give us a great deal like this.
Judy and Lonnie (Hack'n) of Northwest Sidecars will be camping at the Day's Inn in Coeur d'Alene on the 20th.

We just confirmed some more good news. Silverwood, the largest theme park in the northwest is giving us a heck of a deal. They wiill reduce the cost of admission for us sidecarists from $47 to $19 for admission on Friday.
It's official. We are having a steak fry and chicken and brats at the National Rally in Coeur d'alene , ID. It will be no charge to all who are registered at the rally. There will be a country western band
playing after dinner. It's all free if you are registered. Hope to see you there. Dave & Billie
This is very upsetting. I was in Cd'a last year (twice). It is my home town and I was there visiting family. There is no way I can be there this year. Is it possible to reschedule this rally back one year (2011)??? If you are looking for activities in the area - Hike Tubb's hill. It's downtown and a pretty gentle 2 mile walk around the hill with beautiful views of the lake. There is also the lake cruise. I thinks it's one or two hours and is also very scenic. Visit the Old Fort Grounds and drive the Dike Road around North Idaho College (it's a whole mile long). Eat at Hudson's Hamburgers downtown on Sherman and 2nd.
Daang the luck Dan, Hop a plane- rent a car and we won't care. Wish you could be there.
The fact that Cd'A is your home town is all the more reason to come again this year Dan. By what ever means!!
