The trim actually consists of several parts. Your local HD dealer can probably find them for you.  They will not be inexpensive!

88695-67 RETAINER CLIP

88696-67 TRIM CHANNEL KIT

88698-67 CHANNEL INSERT

Harley does not stock many parts over 10 years old. Stretch it out to 20 good luck. They don't even want to work on a bike that is 10 years old anymore.

All true!

But they did sell sidecars that used these parts up thru 2011. My money says it's still to be found in the network, somewhere. And, if you have a good dealer that you purchased from, he will continue to service that bike.

Any dealer can check nation wide HD inventory for a part. Sad thing is the part may show up at some dealer but when you try to order it from them it turns out to not be there. I have had this a happen a few times.

Many HD dealers have long stopped working in 20 year old bikes and more following.

I agree these parts are scarce I was able to get a remote reservoir for brakes but the hose is not sold listed as a vintage item . I’m headed to Daytona amd looking to scour some swap meets .

HD still makes and sells sidecars. Just not to public. They did a major frame change. Appears it will still use the old tub.  It also seems they sell it in peaces now. Frame and wheels assembly are sold separate a long with fender.

Yes, I had read somewhere they still make them for police use.

Sideshow: Around 2016, I was looking to source a Victory cam for my 69 generator shovel. My dealer found one in stock, the next state over. They hadn't been used in a new bike SINCE 1969. The cam itself had been manufactured in 1999... So it all depends upon?
