A week ago I totaled the Yamaha V-Star 1100 I was having an older Velorex customized to match. The car is done and I am looking for another bike. Have a lead on a late model Yamaha V-Star 950 Tourer. What is the general opinion of this bike for use with a sidecar?
The 950 is a good middleweight with enough power to handle freeway driving, which is a plus for touring.

Thanks for the reply. I've been out of the net for awhile. Went up and looked at the 950 last Saturday. It is in great shape with 6401 miles on it. Owner's wife bought him a new Honda Goldwing. Rough life, no? I put money down and will pick it up when and if the rain ever stops. My wife did the research to find the bike (Craig's List). It just happens to be black cherry so I do not have to get the car repainted. Really hope I can get this rig together in time for the rally in Hardieville.
