Wiring Velerox 562 to Klr650

So first sidecar is all attached tothe KLR and tracks well, very little shimmy, just when decelerating. Started to wire up the brake, marker and turn signal(R). Tap into rear brake wire from KLR for brake s/c, licence plate light bulb wire for power and ground for s/c, right turn signal wire KLR for s/c turn signal.

result;
marker (running) light front and back of sidecar work. Brake and turn signal don't work. I'm using a 4 pt trailer connector. Have checked and have power coming out of the KLR and into the s/c wiring harness. Power to the lower light bulb on the s/c, and front light bulb. No power to the rear upper lightbulb.

Any thought or sugguestions would be appreciate. So for be

Sorry forgot to include its a 2001 model velorex.

Are you hooked up correctly?
In the Velorex wire loom:
White is ground.
Black is tail and running light.
Yellow is turn signal.
Red is brake light.

Some use the black wire as the ground as is common in the US.
