I'm thinking about buying a 1981 Velorex 562 in what seems to be good condition. Not exactly sure what I'm going to attach it to. I'm trying to get a general idea of what the going price for one of these is so I'm not getting into this over my head or pay too much.. Has all mounting pieces/hardware, overall good condition, cable operated sidecar wheel brake.

This early 562E model came stripped. No luggage rack and no bumper. It would be a good fit for something not over 500CC without mods.
The late model 562s are going for around $1,500. with all acessories.

Around here, the going price for an old Velorex is about $750. I see them advertised much higher, but those are the ones that are for sale for months without a buyer.

If the price is too high, be patient. There are a lot of them around.

here in southern Ontario, Canada, a new Velorex is retailing for aprox $3800.00, plus bolt on costs,..used in good condition is anywhere less than that,..$1500-$1800 would be fair up here,...good luck, crawf.
