Velorex Universal Mounting Issues

I have a 2006 Velorex 700 Cruiser sidecar connected to a 2004 Yamaha VStar 1100 motorcycle, using the universal mounting kit.

Apparently my toe in and lean out are within acceptable limits since driving down the road is effortless and no pull to left or right.

Car feels rigid, secure, and looks level and perpendicular going down the road.

After 200 or 300 miles of normal road bumps, the bottom mounting clamps on the frame of the motorcycle, roll downward, causing the sidecar to lean inwards.

The sidecar frame is no longer level with the ground, the backrest of the car is no longer perpendicular and the car leans towards the bike.

How do I stop these bottom clamps from rolling downward?

I have them as tight as I believe I can without breaking something. Have I done something wrong?

If it is mounted as shown here you won't have this problem.

Lonnie,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Great view of front mountings, that will help a lot.
I don't have the mounting piece like shown in second photo that is attached to the bike. Can you advise me as to where I can get one. Although somewhat of a closeup I think I can figure out where it goes if I had one.
I am guessing the bottom-rear connection is simply 90 degrees to the motorcycle frame.

Russ,
I got the 12mm threaded eyebolt from Perry's Motorcycles in Fort Worth, TX.
mount the sidecar end of your lower mount like tihs.

Thanks Lonnie.
Because of your help and pictures, I made contact with Bob Wark of The Warkshop (a Velorex distributor). He too showed me pictures using parts other than the original universal mounting kit. Seems like there is a consensus of opinion that the universal kit is too universal to do a good job of mounting. Bob is fabricating me the parts needed for my installation.
