I am going to buy a new V562. I have been told the the new ones have bigger axle better suspenstion etc. Can someone tell be what year was the last up grades made on. I am mounting this with a 883 sportster as the mule.Thank-you for your speedy reply.
We now stock two options for the Velorex 562.
The 562 Cruiser has the 20mm axle, long swing-arm and adjustable suspension.
The Tour uses the basic chassis of the 565 tour sidecar with the above plus a wide fender and a 130/90x16" tire on a wide spoke wheel.

If you do go with the Velorex sidecar and find the "universal" mounts not to work out well on your bike we have in stock bike specific mounts for yoru bike as well as sidecars other then Velorex sidecars.

In 2004 the 562 cruiser and 700 Cruiser came out with the upgraded suspension with long swing-arm, 20mm axle, wider wheel and adjustable shock.
A few of the 2004 562 Standards also had the 20mm axle with the old style short swing-arm.
The wider 20mm hub replacement wheel and brake backing plate are still not in the replacement parts book yet.

Preacherdude, no one is answering your question, are they? I don't know from Velorex, but try Yahoo groups. There might be a Velorex specific group, or some one at SCT (sidecar talk) might know. Good luck!
Thank you Hack'n I believe that you have answered my Q. I did not want to sound gruff I just didn't know anout the update. I am still a waana bee. I am planning on doing this real soon.
