Hi all,
I just purchased a Ural sidecar to put on myh CB750A. I would like to know if anyone knows where I can get a subframe for doing this or if anyone has one I'd like to buy it.
Also, if anyone has had a sidecar on a CB750, I'd like to hear about how it drove and held up.

The CBs make great sidecar platforms from 650 to 1000ccs. I recently sold a 650 wirh 562 velorex on it and the feedback was that the owner was thrilled with it and was driving it every day. Sold a 562C Cruiser three days ago that's going on a '74 CB650 and have another customer with a CB750 waiting for the next 700C Cruiser. We've installed URALS and Dneprs on them alsowith good results.

I have a '78 CB750F with a recently added Velorex 700 sidecar and have had no problems, but only have about 250 miles on the combo. I purchased it used but the guy had all the original paperwork and mounting hardware. It was an easy installation, and the bike doesn't seem to mind having it on. Plenty of power and braking (I don't have the brake on the sidecar hooked up yet).

Do you guys have any pics of the mounting on your CB750A's? I'd like to see how they are mounted up. Especially the Dnepr or Ural's. I'm just trying to figure out if I will need a subframe or not.

We don't have any fabrication or in process pictures or digital photos for the CB/URAL installations and our in-house patterns and templates are a trade secret, but with the very long frame of the M72 clones (whichever manufacturer) will not easily attach to the very short lower frames of the CBs or most of the Japanese, British, or American cruisers without either modifying the sidecar mountings, a sub-frame, fabricated mounting brackets, or any combination of the three.
Once attached though, the M72s make a nice combo after you add a steering damper to the lighter bikes.

If I bought your mount set, would I be able to bolt the Ural right up to my bike? Or would there be other welding or fabricating required? If I'm going to spend the money on a mount set, I'd like it to be something that would pretty much bolt right on.

Some how we must not have reacieved your email as email is answered several times ever day.
To mount the Ural you will need to cut the front lower mount off of the frame of the sidecar and weld on an adjustable front mount that we can supply. Once this is done you can attach the Ural to our mount sets.
